The inspiration for KEVIN.MURPHY Powder.Puff came while Kevin was working with The Wig Master at the Australian Ballet. His constant dilemma and eternal question was always how do you stop hair from going flat??
The Wig Master told Kevin to look back to the time of Marie Antoinette: they did not have all the products we have now but they sure had volume!. So Kevin looked at the powdered wigs of the 18th century and realised powder was the key. He wanted the performance of powder, but didn’t want to see it.
Then Kevin discovered a technology that allowed the powder to morph into a paste and become invisible whilst giving lots of support. Back at the lab they used Seaweed Extracts from France along with Extracts from Apples, Plums, Cranberries and Citrus to create this unique powder volumiser.
