Two of our salons are moving this spring, and the first of them is already open. Here is exactly what is changing, what is not, and what it means for a booking you may already have.
Baulkham Hills — open now at Grove Square
Our Baulkham Hills salon has relocated to Shop 28, Grove Square, Baulkham Hills NSW 2153, opening on 12 August. You can reach the new salon on (02) 9680 2069.
The team came with us. Your stylist, your colour formula, your appointment history and your booking all moved to the new address — this is the same salon in a better room, not a new salon under an old name.
Hornsby — moving to Wahroonga on 12 September
Royals Hornsby will move to 20 Railway Avenue, Wahroonga, opening 12 September. Until then the Hornsby salon is trading exactly as usual, and bookings that fall after the move roll across to Wahroonga automatically. You do not need to rebook.
Why a salon moves
Relocating a salon is genuinely disruptive and no one does it for fun, so it is worth saying what actually drives it.
A salon is a room before it is a business. Chair spacing determines whether two colourists can work back-to-back without knocking elbows. Basin count determines whether a ten-minute treatment can be offered at 4pm on a Saturday or only when the column is quiet. Natural light determines whether a colour looks the same in the chair as it does in the car park — which is the single most common cause of a client being unhappy with work that is technically correct.
None of that is visible on a price list. All of it is visible in the result.
You cannot fix a room with technique. Eventually the room decides what the work can be.

Do I need to rebook my appointment?
No. Existing bookings move with the salon. Your confirmation will show the correct address.
Is my stylist still there?
Yes. Both moves take the full team with them.
Is my colour formula still on file?
Yes. Client records move with the salon — your colourist does not start from scratch.
Are prices changing?
No. A relocation is not a price change.
What about parking?
Grove Square has on-site parking. If you are travelling to Wahroonga in September, the salon is on Railway Avenue — the station end is the easy approach.
